On April 28, 2026, the Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Chamber of Commerce and Shenzhen Baishi Pharmaceutical jointly established the Australian Tea Tree Essential Oil Cooperative Production Base, which was officially unveiled in Shankou Town, Hepu County, Guangxi. Li Jingjing, the mayor of Shankou Town, received Dr. Chen Jianchao, the president of the Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, Cai Mengshan, the chairman of Rennan Group, Ye Wenyan, the head of the base, and the inspection team. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on project implementation, technical cooperation, and industrial development.

Mayor Li Jingjing highly recognizes the project and the town government will provide comprehensive policy and service support to help the base start production as soon as possible, promote the upgrading of local agricultural industry and increase farmers' income. Dr. Chen Jianchao stated that the Chamber of Commerce will play a bridging role in the traditional Chinese medicine industry between China and Australia, promote the integration of base products with Australian TGA certification standards, and open up international market channels; Chairman Cai Mengshan also stated that Rennan Group will leverage its full industry chain resource advantages to provide technology, channels, and market empowerment for the project, and promote the rapid completion and production of the base; Shenzhen Baishi Pharmaceutical will rely on its industrial advantages to create essential oil products that combine local characteristics and international quality, helping Shankou Town's characteristic agricultural and forestry industries enter the international market.

Chairman Ye Wenyan, the person in charge of the base, introduced the construction of the Australian tea tree planting demonstration base to the inspection team on site, and emphasized the standardized planting technology and essential oil extraction process. The base adopts an ecological planting mode, strictly controls soil, water quality, and pest and disease management throughout the process to ensure the quality of raw materials; At the same time, advanced distillation and purification technology is introduced to ensure the high purity and active ingredient content of tea tree essential oil, laying a solid foundation for future integration into the international market.


This unveiling marks the substantive stage of tripartite cooperation, setting a new benchmark for cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine and agricultural and forestry deep processing industries between China and Australia.
