Jointly discuss the integrated development of "promoting agriculture with medicine" and rural revitalization

On the morning of April 7, 2025, Dr. Chen Jianchao, President of the Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Chamber of Commerce, a Justice of the Peace (Vice President of the Australia China Chamber of Commerce and Secretary General of the Australian Shanwei Fellow Association), Huang Youzhi, Director of the Chamber of Commerce's Guangdong Office, and Huang Huaizeng, Director of the Chamber of Commerce's Guangxi Office, visited Tanxi Village, Tanxi Town, Lufeng City, Guangdong Province for inspection. They specifically visited the Red Education Base and Planting Base of the Soviet government's Tanyang Farmers' Association Building Village, and had in-depth exchanges with village branch secretary Lin Jianping and local officials on the integration and development of traditional Chinese medicine internationalization and rural revitalization. And proposed to include the traditional Chinese medicine industry in the rural revitalization plan, emphasizing that "promoting agriculture through medicine" can become a new economic growth point.

During field research, Dr. Chen Jianchao and his delegation visited the Tanyang Farmers' Association building to gain a deeper understanding of the red history and rural governance practices of Tanxi Village during the revolutionary period. He pointed out that Tanxi Village has both red cultural heritage and modern agricultural foundation, and suggested combining the traditional Chinese medicine industry with red cultural tourism resources to create a "red+traditional Chinese medicine" characteristic brand.
