On April 15, 2025, Sydney time, the Australian Chinese Medicine Association (ACMCA) announced the official appointment of Professor Chen Yinhai from the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Southern Medical University (formerly Guangzhou First Military Medical University) as the honorary president of the association. This measure marks an important step in the integration of top international medical resources and deepening research on the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the field of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia.




Professor Chen Yinhai: an authoritative expert in the field of rehabilitation medicine

Professor Chen Yinhai was once the director of the Rehabilitation Department of the Pearl River Hospital of Southern Medical University, a medical doctor, and a doctoral supervisor. He has been engaged in clinical work for more than 30 years, and has profound attainments in the fields of spinal rehabilitation, brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain treatment. He has led multiple national and provincial scientific research projects, published over 50 academic papers, co authored 7 books, and obtained 1 national invention patent. As the deputy leader of the Rehabilitation Group of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society of the Chinese Medical Association and the vice chairman of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Management Professional Committee of the Guangdong Hospital Association, Professor Chen enjoys a high reputation in the industry.
