The organizer of the 22nd World Congress on Traditional Chinese Medicine, ACMCA, successfully concluded in Sydney with AI empowering the new future of the traditional Chinese medicine industry!

From October 30th to November 1st, 2025, the "AI Empowering Traditional Chinese Medicine · Inheritance Industry Promoting Health Practice Seminar" hosted by Australian Chinese Medicine Commerce Association (ACMCA), as a sub venue of the 22nd World Traditional Chinese Medicine Conference, successfully concluded at the ICC Sydney in Australia.
Special guest of the Chamber of Commerce, renowned overseas Chinese leader AM Huang Shuliang of the Australian National Medal of Honor, emphasized that AI has a significant positive impact on modern traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment, increasing the accuracy of diagnosis and the selection of different medications, strengthening the accuracy, storage, and analysis of medical records. There are more diverse examples in terms of systematic collection and post illness education.
Mr. Philip Ruddock, former Federal Minister for Immigration of Australia, and Dr. Michael Li, Honorary Chairman of the Australia China Chamber of Commerce, have always been concerned about the promotion of the event. Whether it is the previous chamber of commerce celebration or this conference, they have given full and strong support without reservation.
Mr. Zheng Maoqiang, Vice Chairman and Executive President of the Australia China Chamber of Commerce, expressed his admiration and support for the active participation of the Australian Chinese Medicine Chamber of Commerce in the World Traditional Chinese Medicine Conference! This sub venue focused on core issues such as the integration and innovation of artificial intelligence and traditional Chinese medicine, industry inheritance and development. It attracted Chinese medicine experts, scholars, representatives of scientific research institutions, entrepreneurs and political guests from dozens of countries and regions around the world to gather in Sydney, with high attendance and a warm atmosphere. The attending representatives engaged in in-depth exchanges on the inheritance, innovation, and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine, exchanging ideas and exchanging wisdom, contributing new strength to promoting the high-quality and sustainable global development of traditional Chinese medicine.
As the core initiator representative of this sub venue, Dr. Chen Jianchao, the President of the Australian Chinese Medicine Association and a Justice of the Peace, delivered a keynote speech. Dr. Chen concurrently holds positions such as Vice Chairman of the Australia China Chamber of Commerce and President of Rennan Group Australia, possessing both industry leadership and extensive practical experience. His speech was titled "Rennan Group - Nanxun Traditional Chinese Medicine AI Intelligent Model", which deeply analyzed the practical application of AI models in the field of traditional Chinese medicine and provided the "Rennan Plan" for the intelligent upgrading of the industry.
At the booth of the Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Chamber of Commerce, Chen Jianchao, the president of the chamber, emphasized in a joint interview with People's Daily Online and Southern Hemisphere Overseas Network that the globalization of traditional Chinese medicine needs to gather multiple forces - only by closely integrating the technology empowerment of AI, the driving force of the industry, and the profound cultural heritage, can traditional Chinese medicine stand firm on the global health stage, truly practicing the development concept of "inheritance without conservatism, innovation without detachment from the roots", injecting Eastern wisdom and the purpose of the chamber into the world health industry. Ms. Chen Qizhuang, the Executive President, coordinated multiple efforts to jointly promote the landing and development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Australia.
Mr. Zhang Dongfeng, Chairman of the Australia China Technology Innovation Alliance and Executive Vice President of the Australia China Youth Entrepreneurs Association, delivered a speech on the theme of "AI+Health Industry: Empowering Human Health with Technological Innovation in a New Pattern". He has long been deeply involved in the field of technology cooperation between Australia and China. This time, from a cross industry perspective, he explores how AI technology can break through the boundaries of the health industry and build a new integrated development ecosystem of "traditional Chinese medicine+technology+health", bringing cutting-edge thinking on industrial innovation to the participants.
Ms. Chen Qizhuang, Executive President of the Australian Chinese Medicine Chamber of Commerce, also serves as Vice President of Shenzhen Rennan Group Australia and the person in charge of the establishment of the Australian Chinese Medicine Museum. She gave a presentation on the theme of "Establishment of the Australian Chinese Medicine Museum - Practice and Future of Overseas Chinese Medicine Industry". She introduced the practical experience of the landing and dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture overseas, and demonstrated the planning for the establishment of the Australian Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, providing a new idea of "physical carrier" for the international dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine.
Dr. Li Tong, a pioneer in traditional Chinese medicine education and research in Australia and the R&D manager of QGS, introduced the latest research achievement of QGS, a local pharmaceutical company - the extract QV0 from Manuka leaves. QGS focuses on the research and production of traditional Chinese medicine and Oceanian plant medicine, and actively cooperates with domestic and foreign scientific research and medical institutions, providing new scientific basis for the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine and local plant medicine innovation.
