The origin of 'Rennan'

   Cai Mengshan's grandfather, Cai Rennan (1917-1989), was originally from Donghai Town, Lufeng County, Guangdong Province. He was the founder of Rennan Medical Clinic. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, his grandfather Cai Fucai learned martial arts and medicine from a young age and grew up selling medicine and practicing medicine for a living. He walked the streets and alleys, and throughout his life, he was a chivalrous and devoted person. Cai Rennan started studying medicine at the age of 13 in order to inherit his grandfather's legacy. He collected ancient formulas, tested them in the folk, and passed down secret formulas from his ancestors. In order to inherit the essence of traditional Chinese medicine, Rennan Medical Center was established in Jiazi Town, Lufeng County in 1945. It provides medical treatment, saves lives and helps the injured for the general public. Many people seek medical treatment and are praised for their generosity and kindness. In the early 1950s after the liberation, he responded to the call of the national system and joined the Lufeng County Medicinal Materials and Medicine Company. In the early 1960s, he went to the mountains and countryside, crossed streets and alleys, and became a mobile traditional Chinese medicine practitioner who sold medicine and practiced medicine. The villagers came to seek medical treatment for poor patients, and provided free medicine and treatment. He was kind-hearted and skilled throughout his life, saving lives and helping the wounded, and was kind-hearted. He passed away in 1989.
